Police Media Release - May 6, 2025

Mischief Under $5000 / Trespassing
On May 5th at 8:10PM police received a call of an intoxicated 26-year-old female who just pulled the fire alarm and broke several windows of a business in the 900 block of Rosser Avenue. She had been barred from the property. The female was located and arrested by police in the 1000 block of Lorne Avenue. She was highly intoxicated. She was held in detention cells to be released on an Undertaking once sober. A court date of July 14th, 2025 has been set.
Breach of Release Order
On May 5th at 10:26PM a vehicle was pulled over for a Highway Traffic Act violation. The passenger was identified as a 37-year-old female who was bound by a Release Order curfew of 9:00PM – 7:00AM. She was arrested, held in detention cells and will attend court in the morning on May 6th, 2025.
Breach of the Peace
In the last 24 hours three people were arrested for Breach of the Peace.
Breach of Undertaking
On May 6th at 12:40AM Police members attended a home in the 200 block of Princess Avenue for a wellbeing check after someone saw a 29-year-old female from the residence with a bloody face. Upon police arrival the female did not cooperate with police. A 36-year-old male, who was on conditions not to have contact with the female was found hiding within the residence. He was arrested and held for court in the morning on May 6th, 2025.
Mischief Under $5000
On May 5th at 2:03PM a caller reported a male at Kirkaldy Drive and 18th Street spray painting the sidewalk and roads. Upon police locating the individual, he had also spraypainted a pole. The 26-year-old male was charged with Mischief Under $5000 and later released on an Undertaking. A court date of July 7th, 2025 has been set.
