Police Media Release - May 21, 2025

Arrest Warrant
On May 20th at 10:11AM a 38-year-old male turned himself into BPS (Brandon Police Service) as he was aware of his endorsed Warrant for Arrest. He was arrested, printed and released on an Appearance Notice with a court date of June 19th, 2025.
Arrest Warrant
On May 20th at 10:42AM BPS members attended to the residence of a 41-year-old male who had an unendorsed Warrant for Arrest (Uttering Threats). He was apprehended and held in detention cells for court in the morning.
Breach of the Peace
On May 20th at 3:58PM a call was received informing BPS of a highly intoxicated male on Rosser Avenue. Police attended and due to the 45-year-old male’s level of intoxication he was medically cleared then held in detention cells until sober.
Theft Under $5000
On May 20th at 3:31PM a theft was reported at a business in the 100 block of Victoria Avenue. The suspect was identified from video surveillance. The male was located by Police in the 400 block of Dennis Avenue and the stolen $90 JBL speaker was recovered. The 32-year-old male was released on Undertaking with a court date of July 28th, 2025.
IPDA (Intoxicated Persons Detention Act)
In the last 24 hours two separate incidents resulted in two individuals being arrested for IPDA. They were held in detention cells and will be released once sober.
Theft Under $5000
On May 21st at 1:25AM a 43-year-old male was identified outside of a business in the 700 block of 10th Street. He was escorted back to Brandon Police Service where he was served his Undertaking from a Theft which occurred on May 14th, 2025. He was released with a court date of July 24th, 2025.
