Police Media Release - March 23, 2025

Disturbance

On March 23rd at 2:07AM, police attended to the hospital regarding a disturbance in the emergency room.  Originally, a 21y/o male was causing a disturbance at a west end hotel and required medical attention.  While at the hospital he became belligerent and threatening with staff, leaving before police arrived.  He was located in the area, highly intoxicated and found to have the same attitude with police that he had with the hospital staff.  He was arrested and lodged to be released when sober with a ticket for being intoxicated and disorderly. 

On March 23rd at 9:40PM, police attended a disturbance at a north end hotel.  An intoxicated 17y/o male was located and determined to be the cause of the disturbance.  He was arrested and will be released to his guardian along with a ticket for minor consuming liquor.

 

Possession of Property obtained by Crime 

As a result of an investigation from March 12th, 2025, a 31 y/o female was arrested in connection to a theft from Brandon University.  She was released with a court date.  Police also identified a co-accused and a warrant has been requested for that person.

 

Warrants

During the past 24rs, 4 adults were arrested at unrelated calls, all subject to arrest warrants. 3 were held for court and one was released with a court date.
