Highlights for the Past 24 Hours:
Robbery with Violence
At 2:14 pm, a call was received of a fight in a business in the 800 block of Rosser Ave. When Police arrived at scene they located a 30 year old female who had been assaulted and sustained significant non-life threatening injuries and was transported to BRHC for treatment. Video surveillance showed the victim was surrounded by three female youths who began punching her, knocking her to the ground, where they continued to punch and kick her. A male youth then joined in and proceeded to kick the victim while she was on the ground as well. The suspects stole her cell phone and then fled the scene. Police continued to search for the suspects and were able to apprehend all four suspects over the next couple of hours. Two 14 year old females, a 17 year old female and a 15 year old male were all arrested and charged with robbery with violence. The three females were all remanded into custody, and the 15 year old male was later released on an Undertaking.
Warrant
At 1:37 pm, Police attended to a residence in the 1500 block of 3rd street for an unknown situation and learned a 25 year old female was at the residence who had outstanding warrants for her arrest. She was arrested and held in custody for her warrants. The charges included three counts of possessing a firearm obtained by crime, break and enter and steal a firearm, and robbery with a weapon.
Domestic Assault/Mischief to Property
At 9:08 pm, Police were called to a residence in the 1300 block of 5th St for a disturbance. Upon arrival, it was learned that the 32 year old female had assaulted the male and broken some of his property in the residence. She was arrested and later released on an undertaking.
