Police Media Release - March 14, 2025

Arrest Warrants

In the last 24 hours five individuals were arrested on the strength of their Arrest Warrants. Three of these individuals were released via Appearance Notice with court dates, one was released via Release Order attending court March 14th, 2025, and one was held in detention cells for court in the morning on March 14th    

 

Breach of Peace

On March 13th at 5:16 PM police were called to a disturbance in the 400 block of Lloyd Crescent. A 40-year-old female was found to be the cause of issues. To prevent things from escalating she was held in detention cells and will be released once sober.

 

Sexual Assault

On December 13th, 2024, a 13-year-old female reported being sexually assaulted by a 13-year-old male. The assault took place in the home of the male youth’s mom’s boyfriend’s residence. Following an investigation, the suspect was arrested and released via Undertaking with a court date of April 15th, 2025.

 

Theft Under $5000

On March 13th at 6:55 PM an employee of a business in the Corral Centre reported a female shoplifter in custody. A total of $86.92 had been stolen. Police attended and a 36-year-old female was arrested. She was later released via Undertaking with a court date of May 22nd, 2025.
