Police Media Release - June 6, 2025

 Arrest Warrant

On June 5th at 8:09 AM Brandon Police Service (BPS) received a request from St Rose RCMP to execute a Warrant on a 22-year-old male who is in custody at Brandon Correctional Centre (BCC). BPS member attended, arrested the male, printed him and he will attend court in the morning on June 6th, 2025.

 

Arrest Warrant

On June 5th at 11:16 AM BPS members were in the 2000 block of Park Avenue when they noticed a 37-year-old male who was known to have an Endorsed Warrant for Arrest (Failure to Comply Release Order). The male was arrested, brought to BPS for processing and released on an Appearance Notice with a court date of July 3rd, 2025.

 

Breach of the Peace

On June 5th at 5:37 PM a call came in from a hotel in the 3500 block of Victoria Avenue regarding an intoxicated male who was trying to get into the hotel, but he was not staying there. BPS Members gave the man a ride to his hotel across town but due to his drunken condition he was denied lodging with his family. The 32-year-old male was taken for medical clearance and held in BPS detention cells to be released once sober.

 

Arrest Warrant

On June 5th at 8:09 PM BPS Member located and arrested a 51-year-old male on the strength of his Endorsed Warrant (Failure to Attend Court). The male was released on an Appearance Notice with a court date of July 14th, 2025.

 

Arrest Warrant

On June 5th at 9:50 PM a call was received of a disturbance at a residence in the 100 block of 4th Street. On location was a 20-year-old female who was the cause of issues. It was also confirmed she had an Unendorsed Warrant for her Arrest (Breach of Probation). She was arrested, held in BPS detention cells and will attend court in the morning on June 6th, 2025.

 

IPDA

In the last 24 hours two individuals on separate incidents were arrested and held in BPS detention cells due to intoxication levels. Held until sober.
