RCMP Warrant Executed
On June 2nd at 6:29AM Brandon Police Service (BPS) members were called to a disturbance in the 400 block of 12th Street where a male was said to be kicking a female while she was sitting on a chair at the front of the house. Upon arrival no disclosure of assault from either party was given; however, the 22-year-old male was found to have an endorsed Warrant for Arrest (RCMP – Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and Forgery). He was arrested and later released on a Release Order with a court date of June 17th, 2025, in Minnedosa.
Failure to Comply Release Order
On June 2nd at 12:26AM a curfew check was conducted on a 37-year-old male who is bound by a curfew of 11:00PM – 6:00AM. It was confirmed that he was not home. At approximately 10:03AM the following morning the male was located and charged accordingly. He was released via Appearance Notice with a court date of July 28th, 2025.
Breach of the Peace
On June 2nd at 2:54PM police were called to a residence on Parkdale Drive regarding a 24-year-old male who was causing a disturbance. Upon arrival the male was found to be intoxicated as well as highly aggressive and combative with Police. The male was arrested and held in detention cells. He will be released once sober and calm.
Theft Under $5000 / Breach of Probation
On June 2nd at 8:56PM Police were dispatched to a business in the 900 block of Victoria Avenue regarding a female that had just stolen merchandise. ($230 worth of meat and clothing). A description of the female was given, and she was located and arrested in the 100 block of 9th Street. The female was on conditions not to attend the business. She was arrested and held in detention cells to be released via Undertaking in the morning.
Fire
On June 2nd at 10:04PM Police and Brandon Fire and Emergency Services (BFES) responded to a trailer on fire in the 300 block of Brentwood. At this time the fire is not deemed suspicious. No animals or humans were injured in the fire as the residents and their pets were out of the residence at the time.
Fire
On June 3rd at 12:14AM BFES and BPS attended to an apartment fire in the 000 block of 9th Street. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Arrest Warrant
On June 3rd at 2:34AM Police attended a residence in the 700 block of 6th Street and arrested a 14-year-old female on the strength of her warrant (Failure to Attend Court / Failure to Comply Release Order X2). The female was arrested, taken to BPS for prints and will be released to a parent via Appearance Notice in the morning. A court date of July 8th, 2025, has been set.
