Police Media Release - January 6, 2025

Arrest Warrant
On Sunday, January 5th while in custody on an IPDA (Intoxicated Persons Detention Act) a 46-year-old male was found to have a warrant for a theft that occurred on December 7th, 2024, in Brandon from a business in the 900 block of 9th Street. He was arrested and later released once sober on an Undertaking with a court date of March 17th, 2025.
Failure to Comply Undertaking
On January 5th at 2:01PM a vehicle stop was conducted in the 300 block of 12th Street. A 45-year-old female was in the vehicle with a male who she is on conditions not to communicate with. The female and male stated they will both attend back to a residence together. With that said, the female was held in custody for court as there was no intention to abide by her conditions. She will attend court in the morning on January 6th, 2025.
Prohibited Driving
On January 5th at 3:27PM a vehicle stop was conducted in the 900 block of 18th Street North and the operator was found to be prohibited from driving Canada Wide. The 23-year-old male was arrested and later released with a court date of March 17th, 2025.
Arrest Warrant
On January 6th at 1:42AM a pedestrian check was conducted in the 1000 block of 6th Street. The 38-year-old male was found to be the subject of an endorsed Warrant of Arrest. The male was arrested and later released on an Appearance Notice with a court date to be set in February 2025.
