Police Media Release - January 3, 2025

Arrest Warrant

On January 2nd at approximately 2:20PM an officer on patrol conducted a persons check of a male walking west on Rosser Avenue. The male was confirmed to have an endorsed Warrant of Arrest for Failure to Attend Court. The 30-year-old male was released on an Appearance Notice with a court date of January 30th, 2025.

 

Arrest Warrant

On January 2nd at approximately 9:18PM police located a 14-year-old male at his residence on Percy Street and executed an endorsed Warrant of Arrest. He was released on an Appearance Notice with a court date of February 4th, 2025.

 

Break Enter and Commit / Mischief Over $5000

On January 3rd at approximately 2:59AM police attended the Town Centre at 800 Rosser Avenue where they met with security due to an alarm going off and discovered that a window had been broken by the entrance. Upon a search of the building police located a male who had ripped off three sprinkler heads and had them on his person. Confirmation was made there was no fire. The intoxicated 21-year-old male was arrested and held in detention cells at Brandon Police Service. He will be released on an Undertaking once sober with a court date to be set in March.
