Fail to Comply with Court Order
On February 2nd at 07:29 am Police received a call of an unwanted person at a residence on Acadia Boulevard. A 25- year- old male was arrested as he was on a court order not to communicate with the female homeowner. The male was also subject to four outstanding arrest warrants for several court order breaches. The accused was held in Brandon Police Detention cells for court on February 3rd, 2025.
Arrest Warrant
On February 2nd at 1:24 pm Police conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of 18th street. A 41-year-old female passenger was arrested as she had an outstanding warrant for failing to comply with a 24-hour curfew. She was held in Brandon Police Detention Cells for court on February 3rd, 2025.
Resist Arrest/Arrest Warrant
On February 2nd at 4:15 pm Police were notified that a male who had an outstanding arrest warrant was at a business in the 1100 block of 18th street. When the male noticed police approaching, he took off running. He was picked up in a vehicle at the intersection of 13th Street and Hill Avenue. The vehicle stopped a few blocks later and the male got out and started running again. After a brief foot pursuit, the male was apprehended by officers. The 37-year-old male was arrested for resisting arrest. He had an outstanding warrant for sexual assault, assault with a weapon and other serious charges. The accused was held in Brandon Police Detention Cells for court on February 3rd, 2025.
Domestic Assault
On February 2nd at 8:25 pm Police received a call of a disturbance at a residence on Cater drive. Investigation revealed an altercation had taken place between a male and a female who were known to each other. A 24-year-old female and a 23-year-old male were both arrested for assault. No serious injuries were reported. The male was released for court on April 14th, 2025, and the female was released for court on April 17th, 2025
Arrest Warrant
On February 3rd at 02:03 am Police attended to an address in the 000 block of 9th street. A 32-year-old female was arrested as she had an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court as a witness. She was held in Brandon Police Detention Cells for court on February 3rd, 2025.
