Failure to Comply Release Order X2
On February 23rd at approximately 9:18AM, police stopped a taxicab in the 600 block of 1st Street. Police had witnessed the male enter the cab from an establishment that sold alcohol. The 41-year-old male is bound by Release Order conditions not to possess alcohol and not to attend any place where liquor is sold. He was arrested and later released on an Appearance Notice with a court date of April 24th, 2025.
Arrest Warrant (Winnipeg Police Service)
On February 23rd at approximately 11:35AM, a 36-year-old male was observed in the 2200 block of 9th Street who was known to have a Winnipeg Police Service Warrant. He was arrested and held in detention cells at BPS (Brandon Police Service). He will attend court in the morning.
Assault / Utter Threats / Cause a Disturbance
On February 23rd police were called to a business in the zero hundred block of 10th Street. A male was threatening staff with bodily harm and had assaulted one employee by throwing punches to the head. The 37-year-old male was located by police and arrested. The male was held in detention cells and will be released in the morning once sober. A court date of April 24th, 2025, has been set. The male was also issued a ticket for Consuming Liquor in Public.
Breach of Peace
In the past 24 hours two separate Breach of Peace incidents occurred where one person per incident was arrested, held in detention cells and will be released once sober.
