Arrest Warrant / Public Mischief / Breach of Release Order
On February 20th at 10:31AM an employee from Brandon Correctional Centre (BCC) reported that an unknown female was on the property outside the fence line and retreated to a vehicle with BC plates, circling the area. Brandon Police Service (BPS) members attended and located the vehicle in the BCC parking lot. The woman proceeded to provide two false names prior to her true identity being discovered. The 26-year-old female was found to have an endorsed Warrant for Arrest as well as a Release Order to reside in Dauphin, MB. She was arrested, held in detention cells and will attend court in the morning on February 21st, 2025.

Breach of Probation
On February 20th at 1:30PM Town Center security reported a highly intoxicated individual causing problems. It was found that the 37-year-old male is bound by a Probation Order not to attend within 200 meters of the area he was in. The male was arrested, held in detention cells and will be released once sober on an Undertaking. A court date of May 22nd, 2025, has been set.
Assault / Assault by Choking
On February 20th at 5:40PM a report came in of a 21-year-old male who had assaulted his 24-year-old girlfriend by slapping, choking and throwing her against a wall. He was arrested and later released by way of Undertaking with a court date of May 1st, 2025.
Arrest Warrants
On February 21st at 2:50AM a traffic stop was conducted in the 400 block of 10th Street in which a 30-year-old female was a passenger. She had two endorsed Warrants of Arrest and one unendorsed Warrant of Arrest.
A 30-year-old male passenger also was found to have an unendorsed Warrant of Arrest as well as he was bound by a Release Order with a curfew and a No Contact Order with someone that was within the vehicle.
Both were arrested, held in detention cells and will attend court in the morning on February 21st, 2025.
