Police Media Release - February 14, 2025

Possession of Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
On February13th at 11:04 am Police arrested a 37-year-old male in the 000 block of 7th street. The accused was wanted for a domestic incident that occurred on Dec 10th, 2024. While being arrested the accused was searched and a collapsable baton was located on his person. He was lodged in Brandon Police Detention Cells and will appear in court on February 14th, 2025.
Arrest Warrants
On February13th at 11:45 am a 27-year-old female turned herself in to Brandon Police. She was aware she had an outstanding warrant for failing to comply with her undertaking. She was arrested and released for court on April 24th, 2025.
On February 13th at 1:45 pm Police attended to a residence in the 700 block of Percy Street. A 24-year-old male was arrested as he had an outstanding warrant for failing to comply with his release order. He was released for court on April 24th, 2025.
On February 13th at 4:33pm A 43-year-old male turned himself in to Brandon Police. He was aware he had an outstanding arrest warrant for Breach of Probation. He was arrested and released for court on March 17th, 2025.
Breach of Peace
On February 13th at 1:46 pm Police received a call of a male acting irrationally trying to fight people in the 600 block of 6th street. A 34-year-old male was arrested as he was under the influence of drugs. He was lodged in Brandon Police Detention Cells and will be released in the morning.
Assault
On February 13th at 4:22 pm Police received a call from security at the town center reporting a female pushing and spitting on them. An intoxicated 38-year-old female was arrested for assault. She was held at Brandon Police Detention Cells and will be released when sober for court on April 24th, 2025.
Intoxicated Person
On February 13th at 11:08 pm Police received a call of two intoxicated persons yelling at each other on Garwood drive. One of the parties returned to their residence in the area and the other a 23-year-old male was too intoxicated to care for himself, so he was arrested under the Intoxicated Person Detention Act and held at Brandon Police Detention Cells. He will be released in the morning.
