Arrest Warrants
On February 11th at 09:43 am Police attended to a residence in the 500 block of 11th street and arrested a 40-year-old female. The accused had an outstanding arrest warrant for failing to attend court. She was released for court on March 17th, 2025.
On February 11th at 1:21 pm Police arrested a 32-year-old male at a business in the Corral Center. The male had an outstanding arrest warrant for possession of property obtained by crime. The accused was released for court on March 17th, 2025.
Breach of Peace
On February 11th at 1:33 pm Police were called to a disturbance at a residence in the 1500 block of 10th street. A highly agitated 31-year-old female was arrested for breach of peace. She was later released without charges after she calmed down.
Assault Police Officer/Resist Arrest
On February 11th at 11:37 pm Police were called to a residence in the 1500 block of Stickney Avenue reporting females banging on windows. Police located three intoxicated female ages 14,15 and 16. The 16-year-old female immediately became aggressive with officers and wanted to fight. While taking the female into custody she bit an officer on the hand and another on the arm. She then kicked a third officer in the leg. All three females were arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service Detention Cells. The 14- and 15-year-old will be released when sober to a guardian with a ticket for consuming liquor underage and the 16-year-old will have criminal charges of resist arrest and three counts of assaulting a police officer as well as consuming liquor underage. She will also be released to a guardian and set to appear in court on April 22nd, 2025.
