Highlights for the Past 24 Hours:
Warrant for Fraudulently Obtaining Transportation
At 2:45 pm, Police attended to a residence in the 300 block of Ross Ave for a call of a possible disturbance. While dealing with this matter, a 30 year old male was arrested on his outstanding warrant for arrest. He was released on an appearance notice to appear in court at a later date.
Warrant for Failing to Appear
At 3:28 pm, a call was received regarding 4 youths acting suspiciously in the 1400 block of 6th St. Police located the male subjects on the area and found a 19 year old male to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest issued by Morden Police Service. The male was arrested and later released on an appearance notice to appear in court at a later date.
Warrant for Public Mischief
At 9:32 pm, a traffic stop was done in the 000 block of 10th St and as a result a 45 year old male was arrested on his outstanding warrant. The subject was held in custody overnight and was released for court at a later date.
Vehicle Fire
At 2:33 am, a vehicle was reported to be on fire in the 600 block of 11th St. Upon Police arrival, the vehicle was found to be fully engulfed in flames and Brandon Fire and Emergency Services attended. The fire is still under investigation.
