Police Media Release - December 15, 2024

Breach of Undertaking
On December 14th at 10:21AM police observed a 33-year-old male on a store property in the 900 block of Victoria Avenue with known conditions not to attend there. He was arrested on site and later released on an Appearance Notice with a court date of January 30th, 2025.
Breach of Probation
On December 14th at 2:45PM police responded to a report of a 43-year-old male breaching no contact orders with his ex-girlfriend, 42-year-old female. The male was intoxicated and hiding in the ex’s home on Garwood Drive. Officers located and arrested the male. He was held in custody until sober and attended court in the morning December 15th, 2025.
Theft Under $5000
On December 14th at 8:38PM police located a 32-year-old female in the 700 block of Rosser Avenue and known to be arrestable for a previous theft from a store in the Corral Centre valued at over $4000. The female was arrested and held in custody for court in the morning on December 15th, 2024.
Stolen Vehicle Recovered
On December 14th at 9:24PM a BPS member was patrolling the parking lot of a hotel in the 900 block of Middleton Avenue when they located a 2013 Toyota Sienna van that was reported stolen January 3rd of 2024. The vehicle was covered in snow and appears to have been parked for some time. The vehicle was towed and further investigation will occur.
Breach of Peace / Disorderly
On December 14th at 10:07PM a pedestrian stop was conducted in the 000 block of 9th Street. A highly intoxicated 18-year-old female was arrested and held in BPS detention cells until sober. She was also issued a Drunk & Disorderly in Public Place ticket.
Failure to Attend Court
On December 15th at 12:53AM, a BPS member conducted a walkthrough of a hotel in the 100 block of 10th Street. Police noticed a 22-year-old female with an Unendorsed Warrant of Arrest for Failure to Attend Court. She was arrested and held in BPS detention cells for court in the morning, however Crown gave authorization to release by way of Appearance Notice with a court date of January 23rd, 2025.
Failure to Comply with Probation
On December 15th at 1:12AM a BPS member conducted a walkthrough of a hotel in the 3100 block of Victoria Avenue. BPS officer located a 44-year-old male who had an endorsed RCMP warrant. The male was arrested and later released by way of an Appearance Notice with a court date to be determined by RCMP.
Drunk and Disorderly
On December 15th at 2:07AM police responded to a report of a brawl at a pub in the 900 block of Rosser Avenue. A 27-year-old male was found to the primary cause of issues. He was arrested and held in BPS detention cells to be released once sober.
Breach of the Peace
On December 15th at 2:23AM police responded to a report of a disturbance outside a bar in the 3100 block of Victoria Avenue. A 25-year-old male was found to be the primary cause of issues. He was arrested and held in BPS detention cells to be released once sober.
Mischief Under $5000
On December 15th at 4:59AM a hotel in the 200 block of 18th Street North requested assistance in an eviction from a hotel room. The party in the room was shut down and the 35-year-old male who the room was registered to, was relocated and served a BPS Warrant for Mischief to Property Under $5000. A court date of March 3rd, 2025, has been set.
