Breach of Peace

On August 29th a 43-year-old male called 911 on five separate occasions from 6:00AM – 8:30AM. He was high on meth at a family members residence. Police attended and eventually arrested the male to prevent further issues. He was lodged until sober.

On August 29th at 4AM police were called to Days Inn where a 44-year-old male was trying to fight people. He had also taken a bottle of pills. He was transported to hospital where his disruptive behavior continued. Once medically cleared he was lodged at BPS until sober.

 

Assault & Theft lead to Warrant Arrest

On August 29th at 11:49AM police were called to a business in the Corral Centre where a worker had been escorting a male and female out of the building when the female grabbed a small item. As the worker grabbed his phone the male subject slapped the phone out of his hand. The two subjects were located in the area by police. The 26-year-old female had outstanding warrants and has charges of Theft Under, Failure to Attend Prints, Failure to Attend Court, Breach of Probation X2. She was lodged and will attend court August 30th, 2024.

The male was charged with Assault and has a court date of November 4th, 2024.

 

Breach of Parole

On August 29th at 11:42AM a 38-year-old male turned himself in to BPS. He was lodged for court in the morning on August 30th, 2024.

 

Theft Under $5000

On August 20th at 11:31AM a resident in the 400 block of 26th street reported that their vehicle had been gone through in the last 20 minutes and items were missing. This was determined through video surveillance. Police located the suspect in the 1000 block of Rosser Avenue. The 26-year-old male was still in possession of items listed as stolen. A court date of November 4th has been set.

 

Breach of Release Order X2

On August 29th at 3:43PM located a 26-year-old female known to have outstanding warrants for her arrest. She was arrested without incident and lodged for court in the morning on August 30th, 2024.

 

Missing Youth Found

Previously reported missing youth was located safe and sober by Police in the Dogwood Blvd area on the evening of August 29th. The family was immediately notified. Thank you to the public for your assistance.

 

IPDA

On August 29th at 7:39AM reports of a highly intoxicated male causing a scene came in. The 63-year-old male was located in the 900 block of Rosser Avenue. He was arrested and lodged until sober.

On August 29th at 10:56PM a 34-year-old male became disruptive to medical staff trying to assist him. Police attended, he was seen at the hospital and later lodged at BPS to prevent further issues. He will be released once sober.

 

LGCCA Minor Consumption

On August 29th at 10:41AM police were called to the Clarion Hotel as a 15-year-old male was causing a disturbance. The male was found highly intoxicated. He was arrested and lodged to prevent further issues and will be released once sober to a parent.
