Breach of Peace
On August 25th police received 3 different calls regarding the same 26-year-old male. He was arrested and lodged to prevent further issue.
Assault, Resisting Arrest, Failure to Comply with Release Order X2, Warrant of Arrest
On August 25th at 1:11PM police were requested to do a wellbeing check in the 1400 block of 7th Street. The check resulted in a 36-year-old male being present at a female’s house against Release Orders. The female stated he had assaulted her. The male flexed and took a fighting stance then proceeded to flee into the home and resisted police arrest. He was arrested and will attend court in the morning on August 26th, 2024.
Theft Under $5000
On August 25th at 3:06PM police were flagged down by a 14-year-old boy who indicated that his friend’s bike had just been stolen while they were in a business in the 700 block of Victoria Avenue. The owner of the bike was now chasing the thief. The suspect was located in the area in possession of the bike. The 28-year-old male was charged accordingly, and the bike was returned to the rightful owner. A court date is set for November 4th, 2024.
Various Charges
On August 25th at 7:55PM police were called to the 1500 block of Stickney Avenue. Police attended and found a 32-year-old intoxicated male who was wanted on outstanding charges and also to abide by conditions not to communicate with the family of where he was. He was arrested and lodged for court.
Upon attempting to facilitate transport for the female and her children to safety with another family member, the female who was also intoxicated, became agitated and uncooperative. Lodged until sober. CFS contacted.

Male’s new charges: FTC Release Order X2, FTC Undertaking X4
Female: Breach of Peace
Failure to Comply with Release Order X2 / Possession of Meth
On August 25th at 7:44PM police conducted a pedestrian stop in the 000 block of 15th Street. The 22-year-old male had an outstanding charge of Failure to Comply with Release Order but upon the stop was also found to be in possession of meth. He was arrested and released on appearance notice with a court date of November 14th, 2024.
Break and Enter with Intent X2/Failure to Comply - Undertaking X5
On August 25th at 4:16PM police noted a disturbance in the 3400 block of Victoria Avenue. Records revealed the 42-year-old male was wanted on an outstanding warrant. He was released on Appearance Notice with a court date of October 17th, 2024, at Oxford House.
