Arrest Warrants
On August 13th at 1:20PM members attended a residence in the 200 block of Dennis Street to address a Warrant of Arrest – Failure to Comply with Probation. The 25-year-old male was arrested and lodged for court in the morning.
On August 13th at 11:00PM police were at Brandon Hospital and encountered a 29-year-old female who had an endorsed Warrant of Arrest for Robbery with Violence from Thompson RCMP. She was arrested and later released via Appearance Notice with a court date of October1st, 2024, in Thompson.
On August 13th at 11:33PM police conducted a persons check in the 600 block of Princess Avenue. The 27-year-old female had a Warrant of Arrest for Failure to Attend Court. She was arrested and lodged for court in the morning.
On August 14th at 2:08AM a 33-year-old male turned himself in to BPS regarding his Warrant of Arrest for Robbery with Violence. He was arrested and lodged for court in the morning.
Theft Under $5000
On August 13th at 3:20PM a store in the Coral Centre reported a female who had just left the store without paying for merchandise. Security detained the female. Police arrived and arrested the 36-year-old female. She was later released with a court date of October 24th, 2024, on charge of Theft Under $5000.
Break & Enter with Intent / Mischief Under $5000
On August 13th at 7:05PM police were notified of a male on the roof of a business in the 700 block of Rosser Avenue who was tampering with an air conditioning unit. With the assistance of Brandon Fire & Emergency Services he was removed from the roof and apprehended. The 30-year-old male had forced entry through a fenced off area on the roof. The male was lodged at BPS and will appear in court in the morning.
Breach of Peace
On August 13th 9:51PM police were dispatched to the 1500 block of 5th Street. The 24-year-old female causing a disturbance was located near 2nd Street and Brandon Ave. She was arrested and lodged at BPS. She will be released in the morning.
Failure to Comply with Release Order
On August 14th at 1:33AM police were dispatched to the 900 block of Frederick Street where talk of starting a fire was overheard. Police located and arrested a 44-year-old male who was found to be in possession of a cell phone contrary to conditions of his Release Order. He was arrested and lodged for court in the morning. No fires were started.
Mischief Under $5000
On August 14th at 1:56AM police were called to the 100 block of 5th Street regarding someone damaging a vehicle. Vehicle owner who sustained broken window was on site. The 16-year-old suspect was found and arrested. He was released on an Undertaking and turned over to his mother with a court date of October 8th, 2024.
