Arrest Warrant

On August 10, 2024, at 6:44am, police attended to a residence in the 600 block of Pacific Avenue regarding a disturbance.  Police located and arrested a 40 year old female who had a warrant for her arrest.  She was lodged at the Brandon Police Service where she appeared before a Justice regarding the matter.

Fail to Comply with a Release Order

On August 10, 2024, at 9:12am, police were dispatched to a business in the 1100 block of 18th St., regarding an unwanted male.  Police located and arrested a 31 year old male who was the problem.  The male was found to be breaching his daily curfew along with a condition not to contact/communicate with a female at the business. The male was lodged at the Brandon Police Service where he appeared before a Justice regarding the matter.

Assault with a Weapon

On August 10, 2024, at 12:39pm, police were dispatched to a stabbing at a residence in the 800 block of 16th St.  Police encountered and arrested a 27 year old male suspect within the residence.  Three occupants of the residence reported being injured during the altercation with the suspect.  The male suspect was lodged at the Brandon Police Service where he appeared before a Justice regarding the matter.

Assault

On August 10, 2024, at 4:31pm, police attended a residence in the 200 block of 8th St., regarding a disturbance.  Police determined a male and female had assaulted each other causing minor injuries.  The male and female were subsequently arrested.  The 61 year old male and the 56 year old female were later released with future court dates.

Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking

On August 10, 2024, at 9:23pm, police conducted a traffic stop in the 800 block of Pacific Avenue.  A 39 year old female passenger within the vehicle was found to be in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine for trafficking purposes.  The female was arrested and also found to be in possession of a knife.  The female was later released with a future court date.

Breach of the Peace

On August 10, 2024, at 9:40pm, police and fire/emergency services were dispatched to attend the 800 block of Rosser Avenue regarding a female sitting on the edge of the parkade. Police located and arrested an intoxicated 25 year old female.  The female was lodged at the Brandon Police Service where she was later released once sober.

Intoxicated Person

On August 11, 2024, at 12:08am, police were called to a business in the 3100 block of Victoria Avenue, regarding an intoxicated female.  Police located and arrested a 20 year old female who was lodged at the Brandon Police Service to continue her nap.  She was later released when sober.

Arrest Warrant

On August 11, 2024, at 12:21am, were dispatched regarding a suspicious person near a business located in the 1900 block of Queens Avenue.  Police located the person of interest within a business in the 1900 block of Richmond Avenue.  The 25 year old male was found to have a warrant for his arrest.  The male was arrested and lodged at the Brandon Police Service where he was later released with a future court date.

Stolen Vehicle / Possession of Property Obtained by Crime

On August 11, 2024, at 6:14am, a resident from the 800 block of Richmond Avenue contacted police to report that his vehicle had been stolen overnight from outside the residence.  At 10:55am, a concerned citizen notified police of a suspicious female and vehicle parked in the 100 block of Richmond Avenue East.  Police located and arrested the female who was found within the previously mentioned stolen vehicle.  The 26 year old female was lodged at the Brandon Police Service where she was later released with a future court date.
