Police Media Release - April 29, 2025

Failure to Comply Release Order

On April 28th at 4:25PM a male was noted in the 2300 block of Rosser Avenue who was known to be breaching his 24-hour Release Order curfew. The 16-year-old male was arrested, held in detention cells and will attend court in the morning on April 29th, 2025.

 

Arrest Warrant

On April 28th at 6:31PM Police responded to a report of a disturbance in the 1200 block of 10th Street. Upon dealing with the 23-year-old male, he was found to have an Unendorsed Warrant for Arrest (Failure to Attend Court X3, Assault Peace Officer, Obstruction). He was arrested, held in detention cells and will attend court in the morning on April 29th, 2025.

 

Breach of the Peace

On April 28th at 8:53PM Police were called to the 800 block of Pacific Avenue where it was reported that an extremely intoxicated male was banging on the door and trying to get in. Police arrested the 21-year-old male, and he was brought back to BPS detention cells. He will be released once sober.

 

Arrest Warrant

On April 29th at 12:05AM Police attended to a residence in the 300 block of Dennis Street to arrest a 15-year-old female on the strength of her Warrant. (Failure to Comply Release Order). She was located at her home, was arrested, and released on an Appearance Notice with a court date of May 27th, 2025.

 

Failure to Comply Undertaking

On April 29th Police attended a residence in the 1200 block of Lorne Avenue regarding a 26-year-old male who on April 3rd had been reported harassing two males with whom he is on conditions not to contact. He was said to have texted and called nonstop. The male is on conditions not to possess a phone or use any networks. He was arrested at his residence and was released on an Appearance Notice with a court date of July 10th, 2025.
