Police Media Release - April 25, 2025

Assault
On April 24th at 1:00PM Police were notified of an assault taking place at a residence in the 600 block of Franklin Street. An intoxicated 27-year-old male was assaulting his 26-year-old girlfriend. Police attended, confirmed the assault and arrested the male. He was held in detention cells and will attend court in the morning on April 25th, 2025.
Arrest Warrant
On April 24th at 1:00PM, as a result of the above incident, a highly intoxicated 26-year-old female was found to be the subject of two Warrants for Arrest (Failure to Comply Recognizance). She was arrested and held in detention cells. She will be released once sober in the morning on an Appearance Notice with a court date of May 22nd, 2025.
Structure Fire
On April 24th at 2:12PM 911 reported a vehicle fire that spread to a structure in the 100 block of 27th Street. It is deemed nonsuspicious and no injuries reported.
