Police Media Release - April 17, 2025

Arrest Warrants
On April 16th at 9:32AM police attended Probation Services and arrested a 13-year-old male youth who had an endorsed Warrant of Arrest (Failure to Comply Probation). He was released on an Appearance Notice with a court date of May 6th, 2025. Notice to parents was served.
On April 16th at 1:12PM Brandon Police Service (BPS) member observed a 37-year-old male who was known to police to have an unendorsed Warrant for Arrest (Theft Under $5000). The male was arrested in the 600 block of Princess Avenue and held in detention cells at BPS for court in the morning on April 17th, 2025.
On April 16th at 4:52PM BPS members noticed a female in the 400 block of Princess Avenue who had an endorsed Warrant for Arrest (Theft Under $5000). The 40-year-old female was arrested and later released via Appearance Notice with a court date of May 13th, 2025.
Breach of Peace
On April 16th at 8:52PM police were called to the 1300 block of 5th Street where a 23-year-old female was causing issues and trying to fight everyone. Police attended and the female was found to be highly intoxicated. She was arrested and held in detention cells until sober.
Possession – Meth
A taxi attended BPS at 3:17AM this morning with a highly intoxicated passenger, who was unable to provide payment. The 34-year-old female was arrested for Fraudulently Obtaining Transportation and upon search incident to arrest was found with a personal use amount of meth. (5gr.). The female was held in detention cells and will be released once sober on an Appearance Notice with a court date of June 12th, 2025.
