Police Media Release - April 15, 2025

Arrest Warrant
On April 14th at 8:45AM a 19-year-old male turned himself in to Brandon Police Service (BPS) aware of a Warrant for his arrest. (Failure to Attend Court, Failure to Comply Probation). He was released on an Appearance Notice with a court date of May 12th, 2025.
On April 14th at 5:37PM, while on an unrelated matter, members arrested a 27-year-old female who was wanted on an outstanding Warrant of Arrest (Failure to Attend Court, Failure to Comply Probation X2). She was released via Appearance Notice with a court date of June 4th, 2025, at Waywayseecappo.
Theft Under $5000
On April 14th at 11:50AM a business in the 900 block of Victoria Avenue called BPS to inform of a theft that just occurred. Members attended and located the 38-year-old female outside of the store. The $37 worth of merchandise was returned. The female was released on an Undertaking with a court date of June 23rd, 2025.
Resist Arrest/Carry Concealed Weapon/ Possession of a Weapon
On April 15th at 2:25AM Paladin Security requested police attend the 600 block of 18th Street to assist in removing two individuals who were refusing to leave the entrance of a business. A 23-year-old male attempted to fight police, resisted arrest and was found to have a knife. The male was arrested, held in detention cells and will attend court in the morning on April 15th, 2025. Additional tickets of Trespass and Smoke in a Public Place were given.
