Police Media Release - April 12, 2025

Arrest Warrants

Over the last 24-hours four-adult-males and two-adult-females were arrested in separate incidents on outstanding arrest warrants.

 

Carry Concealed Weapon

On April 11, 2025, shortly after 11:00 am, police came across a 45-year-old male in the 600 block of Princess Ave who was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant.  Following his arrest, he was found to be in possession of two knives.  He was lodged to appear in court.

 

IPDA

On April 11, 2025, shortly after 11:00 pm, police responded to a report of an intoxicated male in the 200 block of 8th street.  The 22-year-old male had nowhere to go, and was in no condition to care for himself.  He was lodged until sober.

 

Theft Under $5000

Following an investigation into the theft of personal property from the BU Library on April 6, 2025, police located and arrested the 31-year-old female suspect on April 11, 2025.  She was released to appear in court on June 6, 2025, on charges of Theft Under $5000, Possess Property Obtained by Crime under $5000, and Fraud Use of Credit Card.

 

Assault Cause Bodily Harm

On April 11, 2025, at 11:20 pm, police responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence.  An adult male victim was found to have several injuries including a significant bite mark.  The 27-year-old female suspect had left prior to police arrival but was located and arrested at her residence.  She will appear in court on June 26, 2025.

 

Assault

On April 11, 2025, at approximately 11:30 pm, police responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence.  An adult female victim was found to have several visible injuries.  The 36-year-old male suspect had left prior to police arrival but was located and arrested at his residence.  He will appear in court on June 26, 2025, on charges of Assault, Assault with a Weapon, and Assault by Choking.

 

Unlawful in a Dwelling House

On April 11, 2025, shortly after 10:00 pm, police responded to a report of a 26-year-old male suspect entering the home of an acquaintance without permission.  The incident was captured on security footage.  The suspect was later located and arrested; he will appear in court on June 2, 2025.

 

Possess Cocaine

On April 12, 2025, shortly after 2:00 pm, police conducted a vehicle stop in the 200 block of 18th street.  A passenger was found to be in possession of a small amount of Meth and Cocaine.  Following his arrest he was released to appear in court on June 12, 2025.
