Organics Weekly Collection to Resume April 28
Brandon, MB - With spring approaching, the City of Brandon is reminding residents to prepare for the return of weekly organics collection by ensuring they have a green cart.
Weekly organics collection will begin the week of April 28 and continue through November 6. Organics carts will be collected once per week on the same day as residents’ regular garbage collection.
Residents who do not currently have an organics cart can request one by signing up online at:

The Green Cart Program provides an environmentally responsible solution for managing organic waste. By separating food scraps, yard trimmings, and other compostable materials from regular garbage, the program helps reduce landfill waste while creating nutrient‑rich compost that supports gardens, parks, and agricultural use.
