Flood Update - July 11

The City of Brandon continues to monitor conditions closely as the Assiniboine River rises toward the anticipated peak on Mon, July 13.

Flood protection work at the Wheat City Golf Course is expected to be completed soon 

All other planned flood mitigation projects have now been completed, and the city is prepared for the forecasted peak.

City crews will continue monitoring of the dike system and other key infrastructure 

Safety Reminder

Residents are reminded to stay off and away from dikes, flood protection infrastructure, and active work sites. Walking, cycling, or driving on dikes can create safety concerns for both the public and crews working in the area.

The City will continue providing regular updates as river conditions evolve. Residents can monitor current river levels and flood information through our official channels.
