City Wide Snow Clearing Update - Feb. 20, 2026

Brandon, MB - The City of Brandon has officially received 13 cm of snow, which meets the threshold for a city‑wide plow. Crews will be continuing on clearing priority routes over the weekend and are expected to start in residential zones next week. 

Street Clearing Update
-Crews expect to complete most streets in the Priority 1A route today, with the exception of areas impacted by parked vehicles.
-Crews will begin Priority Routes 2 & 6 later this afternoon.

Back Lane Clearing
-With the additional snowfall, crews will begin clearing all back lane routes next week.
-Crews will start with Route 1 on Mon, Feb. 23 at 12 Midnight.

Multi‑Use Paths & Sidewalks
-Multi‑use path clearing experienced some issues overnight; however, crews expect the paths to be completed by 4 p.m.
-Sidewalk clearing is ongoing on the primary route.

P1A: 12 a.m., Thu, Feb. 19
2 + 6: 4 p.m., Fri, Feb. 20
4 + 5: 4 p.m., Sat, Feb. 21
1 + 3: 4p.m., Sun, Feb. 22

Anticipated Residential Zone Schedule (subject to change)
A + F: 4 p.m., Mon, Feb. 23
B + C: 4 a.m., Wed, Feb. 25
D + G: 4 p.m., Thu, Feb. 26
E: 4 a.m., Sat, Feb. 28
