City of Brandon Hours of Operation for National Day of Truth and Reconciliation

Brandon, MB – The City of Brandon will be observing the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation. Please be advised of the following hours of operation for Tue, Sept. 30, 2025:

Brandon Transit will be operating regular hours from 6 a.m. to midnight. The Transit Information Centre will be closed. Reminder: track buses in real time using the BDN Transit App.

The bi-weekly organics and refuse collection will continue on Tuesday as scheduled. Please ensure your carts are out by 7 a.m. View the collection schedule and routes on brandon.ca.

The following facilities will be closed:

  • A.R. McDiarmid Civic Complex (638 Princess Ave.)
  • Brandon City Hall (410-9th St.)
  • Brandon's Community Sportsplex (30 Knowlton Dr.)
  • Civic Services Complex (382 Park Ave. E.)
  • Eastview Landfill (765 33rd St. E.)
  • Parks Complex (2020 McGregor Ave.)
  • Youth Centre (638 Princess Ave.)


All after-hours Public Works emergencies
should be directed to the City of Brandon Public Works After-Hours Line at 204-729-2285. Non-emergency issues can be reported online at brandon.ca/report-an-issue.  

Regular hours of operation return Wed, Oct. 1, 2025.
