
Brandon Transit Route Changes Brings Fixed-Route Service to Braecrest Drive
Brandon, MB – Brandon Transit will introduce two restructured transit routes and bring conventional fixed-route service to Braecrest Drive beginning Mon, Oct. 5, 2026, as part of the ongoing implementation of the Brandon Transit Master Plan.
The service changes include the introduction of Route 3: North Hill Connector and Route 7: Corral/HWY Hub, created through the restructuring of existing Routes 4 and 5. The changes are designed to provide transit connections to key destinations throughout the North Hill area.
As part of the changes, conventional fixed-route transit service will be introduced on Braecrest Drive, with three new bus stops added between 18th St. N. and Knowlton Dr. With fixed-route service becoming available, the existing TransCab service on Braecrest Drive will be discontinued effective Oct. 5, 2026.
TransCab service will continue in the following neighbourhoods:
- 13th St. between Richmond Ave. and Queens Ave.
- McDonald Ave.
- Portola Dr. between 9th St. and 1st St.
- Willowdale Cres. between 26th St. and 34th St.
Route 3: North Hill Connector will connect key areas, including:
- Walmart Supercentre off 18th St. N.
- 1st Street at Kirkham Crescent
- Downtown Transit Terminal
- Sokol Manor (30 – 13th St. N.)
- 18th Street and McGregor Avenue
Route 7: Corral / HWY Hub will serve key areas on the North Hill, including:
- Walmart Supercentre off 18th St. N.
- Shell (921 – 18th St.)
- McDonalds (1021 Middleton Ave.)
- Value Village (1408 1st St. N.)
- Brandon’s Community Sportsplex (30 Knowlton Dr.)
- Home Depot / Corral Centre entrance off Kirkcaldy Dr.
