Water Valve Repairs Planned for Rosser Avenue

Residents and businesses in downtown Brandon may have noticed water flowing along Rosser Avenue in recent days. City crews have identified issues with several water valves in the area.

Under normal circumstances, repairs would require shutting off water to a large number of homes and businesses. To avoid that disruption, the City will install additional valves at Rosser Avenue on 9th Street and 10th Street. These valves will allow crews to complete repairs while maintaining water service for most customers.

Work is expected to begin within the next couple of weeks. Temporary road closures will be in place during construction. The City will provide further updates as scheduling details are confirmed.
