Update on Overland Flooding - April 22, 2026

Brandon, MB – On Mon, Apr. 20, the City of Brandon temporarily closed several areas due to overland flooding. As of today, Wed, Apr. 22, water levels along the Assiniboine River have receded, and Dinsdale Park and the Red Willow Pathway have reopened. The Fat Bike Trail will remain closed until further notice.

Please continue to use extreme caution near the Assiniboine River and keep a close eye on young children and pets at all times, as open waterways can be dangerous.
