Temporary Closures Due to Overland Flooding

Brandon, MB – Due to overland flood waters, the City of Brandon has temporarily closed several locations to protect public safety. The affected areas include the Red Willow Pathway walking bridge, the fat bike trail, and Dinsdale Park.

Residents are reminded to exercise extreme caution when near open waterways. The City is urging anyone visiting the Assiniboine River Corridor to remain a safe distance from the river and to closely supervise young children and pets at all times, as changing water conditions can be dangerous.

The public is asked to respect all closures and posted signage. These areas will remain closed until conditions improve and it is safe to reopen. Updates will be provided as they become available.
