Spring Street Sweeping Starts April 15

Brandon, MB – The City of Brandon’s annual spring street sweeping program will begin tomorrow, Apr. 15, 2026.

Crews will be removing winter debris to help prepare streets for the spring season, starting on Richmond Avenue, west of 18th Street.

For the remainder of the week, street sweeping will take place during daytime hours only. Beginning Sunday, a second overnight shift will be introduced, allowing crews to work both day and night for approximately one month to support efficient progress across the city.

Residents are asked to watch for Street Sweeping in Progress signage and move their vehicles as required to allow crews to complete sweeping safely and effectively.
