For the Past 24 Hours:
Break & Enter:
Just before 8:00 AM Friday morning, a business located in the 3000 block Victoria Avenue East reported that their compound had been broken into overnight. The suspect(s) then damaged several pieces of equipment and stole items. The incident was captured on video surveillance and remains under investigation.
Assault:
On Friday evening, a 27 year-old male was located and arrested for assault, as a result of a complaint received from the victim on September 2nd. During the initial complaint, the male victim reported being punched in the head by an unidentified male suspect, but did not require medical attention. Investigation identified the suspect. He was released from custody with police-imposed conditions and is to appear in court on November 23rd.
Shoplifter:
Just before 1:00 AM Saturday morning, Police located a male suspect in the 0-00 block 10th Street and knew he was arrestable for multiple counts of theft from Walmart that had occurred in August and September. He was held in custody overnight and released this morning on appropriate police-imposed conditions. He is to appear in court on November 23rd.
Others:
Three intoxicated individuals were brought into custody after being located during separate incidents and being unable to care for themselves or for causing a disturbance. They will be released without charges as they sober up.
