Sandbag Information for Brandon Residents
This weekend only (Saturday, July 11th and Sunday, July 12th), empty sandbags will be available at the Eastview Landfill from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Residents wishing to pick up sandbags can park outside the gate near the designated bin and walk directly to the Household Hazardous Waste Building to sign out their bags. Please do not proceed to the scale and there is no need to wait in line at the scale house.
Beginning Monday, residents should return to the Civic Services Complex (900 Richmond Avenue East) for sandbag pickup during regular business hours.
Residents can pick up to 25 fillable sandbags and fill them on-site. Please note:
- Bring your own shovel
- Proof of Brandon residency is required
- Weekend pickup available at the Household Hazardous Waste Building at Eastview Landfill from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday
- Park outside the gate near the sandbag bin and walk into the HHW Building to sign out bags
- No need to wait in line at the scale house
- Regular weekday pickup available at the Civic Services Complex/Public Works Building (900 Richmond Avenue East) from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday
