Road Resurfacing Projects Underway
The City of Brandon is kicking off the annual Road Resurfacing Program, with a contractor completing work on several streets across the community.
What to expect:
- Each street will take about 2–4 days to complete
- Temporary driveway access restrictions during construction
- “No Parking” signs will be placed on affected streets by 5 p.m. the day before work begins
Streets include:
- 6th St N (Assiniboine Ave – Stickney Ave)
- 7th St N (Assiniboine Ave – Stickney Ave)
- 8th St N (Assiniboine Ave – Parker Blvd)
- 10th St (McTavish Ave – College Ave)
- 11th St (Louise Ave – Victoria Ave)
- Lorne Ave (23rd St – 26th St)
- Louise Ave (10th St – 18th St)
- Maryland Ave & 9th St Roundabout
- McTavish Ave (18th St – 26th St)
- Queens Ave (1st St – 6th St)
- Russell St (Rosser Ave – Victoria Ave)
As a safety reminder, road oil will be applied as part of this work. Please keep children and pets away from treated areas and avoid driving on road oil. Use extra caution around construction equipment.
