Residents Invited to Help Name Two Restructured Brandon Transit Routes

Brandon, MB – The City of Brandon is inviting residents to help name two restructured transit routes scheduled to launch this fall.

As part of the changes, Route 4 (Trans Canada) and Route 5 (Assiniboine) will become Routes 3 and 7, respectively.

These routes are among the first service improvements being introduced through Brandon's Transit Master Plan, a long-term roadmap designed to modernize the City's transit network. The restructured routes will improve connections between key destinations across the city and support Brandon Transit's transition to an exchange-based system.

To help shape the future of Brandon Transit, residents are encouraged to submit name suggestions for the two new routes. The selected names will become a lasting part of Brandon's transit system and help riders easily identify the routes for years to come.

Residents can submit route name suggestions through the online form at forms.cloud.microsoft/r/fw3frBLhjd. Deadline to submit suggestions is Tue, Aug. 26, 2026.
