Assault

On September 6, 2026, shortly after 6:00 am, a taxi driver reported being punched by a passenger while in the area of the 2100 block of Louise Ave. Police arrested a 20-year-old female who was later released to appear in court on November 16, 2026, on a charge of Assault. An 18-year-old male passenger was also arrested and lodged until sober.

Assault with a Weapon

On September 6, 2026, shortly before 10:00 am, a customer at a business in the 1200 block of 18^th street threw a napkin dispenser at another customer. Police located the 39-year-old male suspect nearby and arrested him. He was lodged due to his intoxication level. He was released to appear in court on a charge of Assault with a Weapon on November 12, 2026.

Assault

On August 31, 2026, police received a report of historical intimate partner violence which occurred in 2024. The then 21-year-old male assaulted his partner on two separate occasions. On September 6, 2026, the 23-year-old male was arrested and later released to appear in court on charges of Assault and Assault by Choking.

Theft Under $5000

On September 6, 2026, at approximately 5:30 pm, police received a report that a male had broken into a vehicle in the 200 block of 12^th street and then stole a purse. The incident was captured on security footage. The suspect was located and arrested in the 100 block of 8^th street. He was still in possession of some of the stolen property. The 31-year-old male was lodged to appear in court.

Other Arrests

Over the last 24 hours four individuals were arrested on outstanding arrest warrants during separate incidents. Three other individuals were lodged until sober due to their level of intoxication by drugs or alcohol.
