Obstruction and Weapons Charges
Around 4:30 am on Saturday October 3rd, Police responded to a possible Break and Enter in progress to a residence in the 900 block of Rosser Ave. During the initial investigation a 38year-old male refused to cooperate with Police and was subsequently arrested for Obstruction. A search of this individual revealed he was in possession of a collapsable baton, a large knife and a handgun style BB gun. He was charged accordingly and held in the BPS cells to appear in Court in the morning.
Arrest Warrants
In the past 24 hours 1 person was arrested on the strength of a Warrant for their Arrest. The 39year-old male was released on an Appearance Notice and is scheduled to appear in Court in November for failing to comply with his Probation Order.
Breach of Peace
In the last 24 hours 4 people were lodged in the Brandon Police Service for Breach of Peace. They were arrested and held in BPS cells to be released in the morning.
Protective Detention and Care of Intoxicated Persons Act
In the past 24 hours 2 individuals were held in the BPS cells under the PDCIPA.
