2 Charged after Vehicle stop
In the early morning hours of Saturday October 10th, Police conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Lorne Ave. Both occupants of the vehicle were found to be on Court Ordered curfews and one of the subjects was on a condition not to communicate with the other. A 55year-old male was charged with Faling to Comply with his Release Order and a 53year-old male was charged with 2 counts of Failing to Comply with his Undertaking. Ther were both released on Appearance Notices with scheduled court dates in December.
MVA leads to Impaired Driving charges
Around 2am on Saturday October 10th, Police responded to a motor vehicle accident in the 2200 block of Ottawa Ave after receiving a report of Dodge Caravan striking a parked vehicle. The operator of the suspect vehicle was located on scene and showed signs of impairment. The 36year-old female driver was arrested and transported to BPS where she provided two breath samples that were over twice the legal limit. She will appear in Court next week.
Protective Detention and Care of Intoxicated Persons Act
In the past 24 hours 4 individuals were held in the BPS cells under the PDCIPA.
