Police News Release - May 30, 2026

Breach of the Peace 

In the past 24 hours, five individuals were arrested for Breach of the Peace, they were intoxicated and will be released when sober.

 

Failure to Comply with Release Order

On May 29th at approximately 8:06 p.m., police received a report of an adult female that was failing to follow the conditions of her release order.  She was arrested and charged in relation to the breach. She was lodged at Brandon Police Service detention cells and is scheduled to appear in court on the morning of May 30th, 2026.

 

Assault 

On May 30th at approximately 1:49 a.m., police responded to a call in the 600 block of Douglas Street.  At this call a female disclosed to Police that she had been assaulted by her common law partner.  An adult male was taken into custody and was lodged at the Brandon Police Service detention cells.  He was charged with assault (Intimate Partner Violence).  He was be released on an undertaking in the morning.
