Police News Release - May 10, 2026

Possess Weapon

On May 9, 2026, shortly after 11:00 pm, police responded to a report of a fight at a residence.  The suspects ran, but one was located and arrested nearby.  The 15-year-old male was found in possession of bear spray, and he was on conditions not to possess any weapon.  He was lodged for court on charges of Possess Weapon and Fail to Comply with Sentencing Order.

On May 9, 2026, shortly before 7:00 am, police responded to a fight at a residence.  One of the individuals involved, a 24-year-old male, was observed throwing a CO2 pistol in the yard.  He was arrested and lodged to appear in court on charges of Fail to Comply with Probation, Carry Concealed Weapon, Obstruct PO, and Order Firearms Weapons Prohibition.

Breach of the Peace / Protective Detention and Care of Intoxicated Persons Act

Over the last 24 hours, police attended 8 separate incidents in which 8 individuals were arrested and lodged until sober.
