Arrest Warrants
Over the past 24 hours, two individuals were arrested on outstanding Warrants for Arrest. One was held in custody for a court appearance in the morning, while the other was released on an Appearance Notice with a future court date.
Breach of the Peace
In the past 24 hours, two individuals were arrested for Breach of the Peace. Both will be released once sober.
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
Following ongoing investigations related to the May 18th incident, in which a 29-year-old male attempted to evade police in a vehicle and subsequently faced multiple charges, the subject has now been charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime. While in custody at Brandon Correctional Centre, law enforcement discovered that, after failing to check out of his motel in the 1000 block of 18th Street, the individual’s room contained $4,475 in cash, along with digital scales and packaging materials. The male is scheduled to appear in court the morning of June 3rd, 2026, to face the new charge.
Assault
On June 2nd at approximately 6:27 a.m., a homeowner in the 400 block of 12th Street reported that an unknown female was found in his backyard, under his gazebo. When the homeowner asked her to leave, she demanded his phone and then assaulted him by punching him in the face twice before leaving the property. The incident was recorded on the homeowner’s phone, allowing police to identify the suspect. Officers located and arrested the 33-year-old female within minutes of arriving at the residence. She was charged with Assault and later released on an Undertaking, with a scheduled court appearance on August 13th, 2026.
