June 14th, 2026 - For the past 24hrs. 

 

Breach of the Peace / Protective Detention & Care of Intoxicated Persons Act

Over the past 24 hours, three individuals were arrested for Breach of the Peace, while 4 additional individuals who were highly intoxicated, were taken into custody under the Protective Detention & Care of Intoxicated Persons Act (PDCIPA). All were to be released once sober and cooperative.

 

Warrants executed

On Saturday June 6th, BPS members arrested five males on outstanding Warrants of Arrest. Two of the males were wanted for breaching their probation conditions.  One male was wanted for failing to comply with his court ordered release conditions while another male was arrested for failing to attend for fingerprints.  All four of these arrestees were released on Appearance notices for Court dates in July.   The fifth male was located in the 1500 block of Lorne Ave and was arrested on his warrant for Assault with a weapon.  He was released on an Undertaking with conditions, and a court date in August.
