Break and Enter

On Friday June 12th, around 5pm, Police received a call as a male suspect was seen to enter an abandoned residence in the 300 block of Princess Ave East. A 46-year-old male was found within the residence and exited upon Police request. He was arrested and lodged in the Bps cells to appear in Court in the morning.  

 

Canada Wide Warrant Apprehension

Around 630pm a male matching the description of a suspect who was wanted in relation to a Canada Wide Warrant for being unlawfully at large, was observed by Police in the 100 block of 2nd St. When stopped by Police he provided a false name in an attempt elude capture. His identity was eventually confirmed, and he was arrested on the strength of the Warrant. The 36-year-old male was held in cells at BPS to appear in Court to face an additional charge of Public Mischief.

 

Arrest Warrants

In the past 24 hours 3 other individuals were arrested on the strength of their Warrants for Arrest.  2 of the individuals were held for court in the morning, while one was released with a scheduled Court date in July. 

 

Breach of Peace

In the last 24 hours one individual was held in the BPS cells for Breach of Peace.

 

Protective Detention and Care of Intoxicated Persons Act

In the past 24 hours one individual was held in the BPS cells under the PDCIPA
