Breach of Peace
In the last 24 hours three individuals were arrested and held in the Brandon Police Service (BPS) detention cells for Breach of Peace. They will be released once sober.
Arrest Warrants
In the past 24 hours three individuals were arrested on the strength of their Warrants for Arrest. One individual was held for court while two were released with future court dates.
Failure to Comply Undertaking / Failure to Comply Probation
On July 2nd at approximately 6:00 p.m., police responded to a report of a male waving around a butcher knife in the back lane of the 200 block of 8th Street. Officers attended the area, located the 36-year-old male, and arrested him without incident. The individual was bound by court-ordered conditions prohibiting him from possessing knives or other weapons. Due to his intoxication by drugs, he was brough to Brandon Police Service detention cells. Once sober, he will be released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on September 17th, 2026.
