Police News Release - July 29, 2026

Garage B&E and Stolen Vehicle

Sometime between July 27 at 2:00pm and July 28 at 9:30am, a suspect entered a garage on Hemlock Crescent where they stole an electric scooter and a vehicle. The vehicle is a white 2012 Hyundai Veloster hatchback (MB plate # GYV 772). Please contact Police if you observe this vehicle.


School B&E

On July 25 at 12:45am, suspects broke into Crocus Plains High School by gaining access through a window. Investigators are currently reviewing security video to identify suspects and determine whether any theft or additional damage occurred.


Arrest Warrants Executed

On July 28, BPS arrested three individuals who were wanted on Arrest Warrants. Two individuals were held in custody for Court, and one was released for a future Court date.


Breach of Peace

On July 28 at 12:30pm and 5:00pm, BPS responded to two separate and unrelated incidents where individuals were causing disturbances within their residences. Both individuals were temporarily held in custody to prevent a continued breach of peace.


PDCIPA

On July 28 at 6:00pm, Cadets located a highly intoxicated female near the BPS Office. The female was lodged until sober.

On July 28 at 10:20pm, BPS responded to a report of two intoxicated individuals causing a disturbance in the 800 block of Princess Ave E. Both were lodged until sober.
