Breach of the Peace
In the past 24 hours four individuals were arrested for Breach of the Peace. They were intoxicated and held in Police Service (BPS) detention cells to prevent the continuation of their behaviour. They were released when sober.
Protective Detention and Care of Intoxicated Persons Act (PDCIPA)
In the past 24 hours two individuals were arrested for PDCIPA and brought to Brandon Police Service (BPS) detention cells. They will be released once sober and able to care for themselves safely.
Arrest Warrant and Possession of Stolen Property
Over the past 24 hours, one individual was arrested on an outstanding Warrant for Arrest for failing to attend court. This individual was found in possession of stolen property at the time of their arrest. They were released on an undertaking with for court in September.
