Police News Release- July 13th, 2026

Warrant Execution

 

At approximately 12:15 PM, a 50-year-old female who was known to officers from previous dealings and who was known to have an outstanding warrant for her arrest was located in the 0000 block of 10th St. She was lodged for court in the morning.  

 

Warrant Execution

 

At approximately 13:15 PM, officers were paroling in the 900 block of Rosser Ave and recognized a 32-year-old female in the area. Officers were aware of an outstanding warrant of arrest for the female. She was arrested on the strength of that warrant and released from custody on appearance notice. The female will attend court in August to answer to her charges.  

 

PDCIPA

 

At 08:25 PM, Police received a call from a business in the 3100 block of Victoria Ave for a fight in progress between multiple people. Upon police arrival a highly intoxicated 32-year-old female was found to be the cause of the issues. She was arrested under the Protective Detention and Care of Intoxicated Persons Act. She was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober. She was also permanently banned from the property, and a banning notice was served to her by the business.

 

Domestic Assault

 

At 12:24 AM, Police received a report of domestic violence at a home in the 1000 block of 10th st. Officers attended the home and spoke to the victim who had visible injuries upon their arrival. A 27-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault and was lodged for court in the morning.

 

PDCIPA

 

At 04:33 AM, Police received a 911 call to a home located in the 1200 block of 10th St stating they could here yelling and screaming coming from a home in that area. A highly intoxicated 26-year-old male was located in the parking lot and found to be the problem. He was arrested under the Protective Detention and Care of Intoxicated Persons Act and lodged until sober at Brandon Police Station.

 

Fail to Comply with Release Order

At 05:42 AM, officers were patrolling in the 300 block of 26th St and observed a suspicious male checking vehicle door handles and looking in backyards. Officers conducted a pedestrian check with the male. The 55-year-old male was checked for warrants and conditions and found to be bound by conditions of a Release Order. One of these conditions was to abide by a daily curfew between the hours of 10:00PM-7:00AM. He was in breach of this condition and was also intoxicated, therefore he was lodged until morning to be released for court in September.
